Veterinary Referrals

At Morrisburg Animal Hospital, we welcome patients who have been referred to us by other veterinary centres. You can rest assured that even though we are not your pet’s primary veterinary team, we will treat them the same as we would our own patients. If your veterinarian has referred your pet to us, and if you have any questions about your pet’s upcoming consultation, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 613.543.2812.

What information should I bring with me to your hospital?

Since your veterinarian has referred us, they will have already sent us your pet’s medical records and information in advance of your consultation. Therefore, there is no need for you to bring any documents or information.

What is a veterinary referral hospital?

As a veterinary referral hospital, this means that our practice is equipped with the tools and expertise to handle more nuanced cases that may not be possible within other teams. In the same way, we can also refer our own patients to other specialists who may be better equipped to treat them.

Dear Clients,

We are happy to announce that as of March 21, 2022, we will be reopening our doors (with some restrictions).

Here are some important changes to consider when visiting the hospital:

Food and Medication Pick Up

Face Masks are required to enter the building and must remain on for the duration of your visit.

Have you welcomed a new furry family member to your home? We’d love to meet them! Visit our Must Know New Pet Owner Information page for useful resources and helpful recommendations for new pet owners.

Our team is very excited to start welcoming you back into the hospital! We kindly ask for your patience while we make these adjustments. Any kind of disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated by our team and may result in the denial of service. Please be kind, we're all in this together.
